ACPA named School of Promise by the Ohio Department of Education!!!!

(ACPA is located east of Interstate 70 at the Hamilton Rd. exit.
At Groves Road, turn left and make an immediate right into the office complex.
You cannot enter the school from Hamilton Rd)
ACPA offers a full college preparatory academic and arts curriculum including advanced classes in
Math, Science, English, Foreign Language, History and the Visual and Performing Arts
  • Small school size - 230 students maximum.
  • Highly qualified faculty - Caring, energetic teachers who are Highly Qualified Licensed in their field.
  • Diverse curriculum - Strong in academics and diverse in the arts. ACPA uses the Ohio Department of Education standards and benchmarks to
    earn high praise from the state department as an effective school. Only 2 charter schools in Franklin County can boast this high honor.
  • School-wide discipline plan - Provides the framework for a safe learning environment and ensures equal treatment of ALL students regardless
    of gender, national origin, race, sexual orientation, handicaps or religious preference. Violence in the form of intimidation, bullying or physical
    violence is NOT TOLERATED by the school community. ACPA should students feel safe to express themselves as individuals!
  • Required  internship program - This allows students to gain experience in careers in which they are interested. Freshmen spend each
    Wednesday preparing for the future of their high school career at the school. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors must spend this day at
    Internship sites off campus - this accounts for 1/5 of their total learning. Students may not graduate from ACPA without meeting this
    component of the program of studies.
  • School schedule, 9:00am - 4:00pm - This teaches high school students during the time of day in which they are most able to learn.
  • College Courses - Students who meet criteria may take classes at local colleges and universities for high school and college credit.
  • Transportation - Available to many students within the Central Ohio area.  Check with your home school district for information.
